As the Dean of Students here at Maritime, I am responsible for the execution of the school's discipline policy and to ensure that due process is adhered to as stated in our policy.  The focus of discipline at Maritime is not the punishment itself.  The punishment is in place to deter, but more importantly to demonstrate that one's actions have consequences.  The focus of discipline at maritime to enable our cadets to feel a sense of responsibility for their own actions, to foster a productive learning environment, and to build in cadets a desire to do what is right even when nobody is watching them.  In essence, we strive to have our cadets become self-disciplined responsible citizens who are value added to the classroom now, and in their adult lives in the future.

If you have any questions or concerns please do not heistate to e-mail or call me.
